Denbighshire Scratch team started their annual quest to win the North Wales Counties Championships with a home fixture against Anglesey at Vale of Llangollen Golf Club Sunday 21st May.
Foursomes were a hard-fought match Denbighshire leading 2-1 and most games being taken to the final couple of holes.  Afternoon singles each match closely contested.  
Denbighshire  4-2 in the singles securing an overall victory 6-3.
